Rain runs in, softens the base underneath, and traffic pumps that weakened base out — the crack widens, the edges break down, and before long you're paying for patching or worse. Sealing cracks early is inexpensive insurance against expensive repairs.
We fill major cracks with hot-applied rubberized (hot elastomeric) crack filler — the same type of material used on highways. It's applied hot so it flows into the crack and bonds to the edges, then cools into a flexible seal that moves with the pavement as temperatures change. That flexibility is the key difference from cheap cold-pour products that harden, shrink, and pop loose.
